Is it possible to connect to my PlayStation 4 when I'm away from home?

Yes! You can run the automatic internet remote play configuration from within the app and connect to your PlayStation 4 anywhere you have internet access.

Can I use this with my PlayStation 5?

Unfortunately no, we have no plans to support PS5 at this time.

I am experiencing regular video freezing when streaming

Some devices (notably the Samsung Galaxy S series) are affected by a power-saving issue when using 2.4GHz WiFi networks. With such devices, if you are connected to a 2.4GHz network you may experience intermittent freezing and glitchy playback. There are two options to mitigate this issue:

  1. (Preferred) Connect your device to a 5GHz WiFi network instead of 2.4GHz.
  2. Place your device into flight mode, then re-enable WiFi (with flight mode still enabled) before beginning streaming.

What are the system requirements?

  • An Android device running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher.
  • A PlayStation 4 console.
  • A home network (e.g. as provided by a router) to which your PlayStation 4 is connected. The PlayStation 4 should use wired networking if possible.

I never received my license key after purchasing through the website

Do I need to setup an account with you or enter my PlayStation account credentials?

We do not require you to create an account with us.
It is required that you sign in to your PlayStation Online account in order to pair your PS4 with PStreamer.
We understand that some users may be concerned with entering their credentials in a third party application.
We must stress that PStreamer does not monitor, intercept or otherwise manipulate anything you enter into the account
sign in page; this information is sent directly to Sony servers and is not visible in any way to the app.
For extra security, we recommend our users enable 2-step verification for their PlayStation Online accounts.
